Manufacturers Representative Electronic Components

Crowley Associates, an industry-leading Manufacturers Representative since 1984, is seeking a motivated, self-driven individual as an Outside Sales Representative to increase new account sales in the area of Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo area. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will grow existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and follow up on potential leads utilizing Crowley’s winning sales process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Your ability to expand market share with an existing account base and to develop new accounts through the sale of our manufacturer’s products or services.

· Travel to customers to identify opportunities and create new business opportunities.

· Thoroughly understand Crowley’s product offerings and applications.

· Work through customer requirements to determine solutions and engage proper resources to create the opportunity.

· Attend company paid technical training.

· Complete online training.


Interpersonal skills:

· You would need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to make effective presentations. Prioritize, multitask, and work to meet deadlines. Must have the ability to sell, persuade, influence, and negotiate. Essential to have demonstrated the ability to build relationships at all levels of customers. Must have a “team player” attitude and be able to efficiently and effectively handle shifting and multiple priorities.


Qualifications:

A technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, a degree in any other engineering discipline, physics or science or a Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Business Management.

Three-year sales experience (preferred). Outside sales experience. Candidates with an understanding of the electronics market, a Manufacturer’s Representative firm, and a Distribution channel (preferred).

Crowley deploys the latest technology equipment with the ability to work anywhere. Candidate needs to be well versed in Microsoft Office 365 products.
